About us
Riverside Motel & Campground is located on the West edge of the picturesque community of Eastend, SK, "The Valley of Hidden Secrets". This 12 room motel offers the nostalgia of a classic motor inn. In addition to the motel, which was built in 1980, there are six full-service RV sites, 10 sites ideal for tenting and six unique kitchenette suites that originate from 1952.
Owner, Gary Southgate, acquired Riverside Motel in August of 2021 at the same time as starting Eastend Scenic Rail Tours. Gary began collecting a wide variety of locomotives, cars, and history around 2013. His interest and fascination in railroads and trains started back as a child, in a small village in SK. He now owns, as an individual, one of the largest private collections in the world!
